Identity Self-Service Components Upgrade

On Friday November 17, 2017, starting at 6:00 PM we will be upgrading the Identity and Access Management Self-Service components. The upgrade should not take more than 30 minutes to complete.

The components that are being upgraded are: 

1. Identity Manager (the process by which new users setup their UCSBNetID account and other related information)

2. Profile Editor including DDE (Department Delegated Editor)

All current URL’s to the above components will be automatically forwarded using a HTTP response 303 code permanently. The HTTP response status code 303 is a way to redirect web applications to a new URL. Users should update their bookmarks once the upgrade takes place and the new URLs are available.

For faculty, staff, and affiliates, assistance is provided by the Enterprise Service Desk. If you cannot log into services using your ucsbNetId, please call the Service Desk at 805 893-5000 to talk to a technician.
