Timekeeping Project News (August 2015)

The Electronic Timekeeping project team is focused on a number of activities in August:

  • Working with selected managers to test the non-Java version of Kronos.
  • Implementing minor enhancements to the non-Java version of Kronos for managers.
  • Working with selected Payroll Managers and Timekeepers to test the remote application solution that mitigates Java issues.
  • Continuing to interview partially deployed departments to identify change impacts to their current timekeeping processes.
  • Researching options for timekeeping policies, processes, and procedures with input from the Kronos Academic/Research Advisory Committee, the Electronic Timekeeping Steering Committee, and Audit & Advisory Services.
  • Planning for the deployment, training, and license provisioning for the Mobile Time application. This app will be accessible on smartphones initially and may be available for tablets later on.
  • Planning for the deployment of Electronic Timekeeping in 17 departments that are partially using the solution and 60 departments that are not using it.
