The Electronic Timekeeping project team is focused on a number of activities in February:

  • Continuing to evaluate new features and bug fixes in Service Pack 7.0.9.
  • Installing and testing Service Pack 7.0.9 in a development environment.
  • Evaluating the benefits of upgrading to Kronos Version 8 concurrent with UCPath integration.
  • Researching options for standard and consistent timekeeping practices, processes, and procedures with input from the Electronic Timekeeping Solutions Committee, the Kronos Academic/Research Advisory Committee, the UCPath/Electronic Timekeeping Steering Committee, and Audit & Advisory Services.
  • Working with the Steering Committee on options for introducing simplified timekeeping functions within Kronos.
  • ETS is conducting an initial assessment of UC Irvine’s Time Reporting System (TRS) now that we have a better understanding of our campus timekeeping requirements and the Kronos system functionality and costs. The last UCSB assessment of TRS occurred in 2011 during the Operational Effectiveness initiative.
