Timekeeping Project News (January 2016)

The Electronic Timekeeping project team is focused on a number of activities in January 2016:

  • Evaluating the new features and bug fixes in Service Pack 7.09.
  • Evaluating the benefits of upgrading to Kronos Version 8 concurrent with UCPath integration.
  • Researching options for standard and consistent timekeeping practices, processes, and procedures with input from the Electronic Timekeeping Solutions Committee, the Kronos Academic/Research Advisory Committee, the UCPath/Electronic Timekeeping Steering Committee, and Audit & Advisory Services.
  • Working with the Steering Committee and Sponsors on options for introducing simplified timekeeping functions within Kronos.
  • Planning for the further deployment of Electronic Timekeeping in 22 departments that are using the solution on a limited basis and 65 departments that are not using it.
